Can you share a little bit about the fate that led you to the path of becoming a Hot TikToker?
Initially, I came to TikTok just because I was curious and interested in a very popular platform. I did not expect that I would become a professional TikToker. It all started during the second Covid-19 epidemic when I was working as a Content Creator for a cinema startup in Saigon. Work was “frozen” due to the pandemic, and I suddenly had a lot of free time. Thanks to a suggestion from a brother, I decided to try TikTok, turning surfing TikTok for hours into a real “game”, and learning ways to increase TikTok views to gain more views. I bought a light, and a tripod and started filming funny, profound, or trending clips.
Initially, the number of views only stopped at a few dozen, a few hundred, at most a thousand. But then, an unexpected viral clip changed everything. The feeling of waking up and seeing a video reach 10,000 views, then one day that number increased to 100,000 is truly unforgettable. At that moment I knew TikTok had chosen me and I had to seize this opportunity. From then on, I became more serious about my path to becoming a professional TikToker.

But it’s not just thanks to “luck” that your channel has achieved more than 200K followers as it currently does. Do you have any special secrets?
Having been on TikTok for nearly 2 years, I realized that the most important factor that makes the viewer community support me is honesty and closeness. Before switching to the Beauty Review segment like now, with the videos I uploaded, I also chose “real-life” topics, very close to stories in the community. And when I switched to reviewing cosmetics and providing beauty tips, I always maintained the principle: real experience, real reviews. This is what has helped me become a hot tiktoker in the beauty industry.
In addition, for the community to continuously follow my TikTok, I always maintain a regular number of videos, every week. I also diligently read and review more beauty knowledge so that I don’t run out of “ideas” when creating content. Frankly speaking, for me, TikTok is not a difficult channel to exploit, the important thing is that you have to be persistent, and have a certain passion!

Why did you choose Beauty and not another field? Is the knowledge you have about cosmetics from practical experience or from books?
Beauty is my choice because it is simply a passion. I started my skincare journey 4-5 years ago. With combination skin that is oily and prone to acne, I have gone through many challenges to find suitable products and have the healthy skin I have now.
Luckily, I have friends and acquaintances who are dermatologists, so I can learn a lot from them. Besides, I also regularly consult the opinions and reviews of other beauty bloggers to have the most objective view.
Before becoming a Beauty Hot TikToker with millions of views, I had accumulated quite a bit of knowledge and experience about cosmetics. And I keep learning every day so I can confidently advise my fans on all skin-related issues.

How will your day go? Do you ever get bored of having to shoot videos every day?
Skincare is my biggest passion. I started this journey 4-5 years ago when my oily combination skin was prone to acne. After many efforts and trials, I have found a way to maintain my current healthy skin.
Luckily, I have a number of friends and acquaintances who are dermatologists, so I can learn a lot of useful knowledge directly from them. In addition, I also regularly consult opinions and reviews of other hot-tiktokers to have a more multi-dimensional view of the products.
When I started becoming a Beauty TikToker, I already had a certain amount of knowledge and experience about cosmetics. Every day, I constantly learn and accumulate more so that I can confidently advise you on all skin-related issues.

Choosing to participate in the Social Selling Platform, how do you rate this money-making channel?
Participating in the Social Selling Platform has given me more motivation and confidence on the path to becoming a professional KOL. Unlike traditional booking forms, this platform allows you to proactively earn extra income from anywhere, at any time. My job is simply to create attractive content, attach links to buy products, and receive a commission for each product sold thanks to me.
What I especially love is the freedom to choose products I really trust to review and share the most honest reviews and experiences. This is completely different from when working with brands, sometimes I have to “add content” to suit their requirements.

Are you ever afraid of being said to be advertising for sales?
Occasionally I also encounter negative comments like: “Another advertisement?”, “Don’t believe it, it’s an advertisement!”… I always frankly admit that I am advertising, but advertising is based on experience. own real experience. The products I introduce on TikTok are all products I have used and give the most objective reviews possible. I don’t talk too much or exaggerate about the product so there’s nothing to be shy about.
I believe that consumers today are very smart, they will recognize what is a real experience, and what is marketing and advertising. As a KOL, I am always aware of the responsibility in every word I say because it directly affects my fan community – those who not only support and love me but are also my main source of income. I hope that when people watch my videos, they will have no doubts and feel secure in using the products I review.

Ecomobi has only had the opportunity to cooperate with you for about 2 months, but the numbers you brought back are extremely impressive, do you have any secrets?
Honestly, I was surprised with the commission level Ecomobi gives to KOLs like me. There are products where I get up to 30% of the order value. As for the secret, I think it lies in the content. “Content is king”, right? Each person has a skin problem, so I break it down into topics such as acne skin, oily skin, uneven skin tone, etc. to suggest suitable products. Providing solutions to users is how we sell products. Well, it’s important that I only introduce products that I have experienced or researched carefully so that people can trust me for a long time.

Do you have any suggestions for Ecomobi during the cooperation process?
I can use 4 words to talk about Ecomobi, which is “extremely satisfied”. There is a memory that I always remember about the enthusiastic support of the Ecomobi team. That day was the March 3 sale, my personal Landing Page had an error not displaying products. I texted a friend at Ecomobi for support, although I didn’t hope to get it resolved right away because it was quite late and it was a holiday. Yet she responded and asked the company’s Tech team to help me.

Do you plan to develop any other channels in the near future?
In addition to TikTok, I am also planning to develop a YouTube channel. However, to bring the best experiences to everyone, I want to invest more carefully in all aspects, from equipment, and personnel to content. Therefore, perhaps the YouTube channel “New Day with Bimm” will need a little more time to launch. Hopefully, at that time, I will still receive enthusiastic support from everyone.
In the meantime, I also started to explore other platforms like Instagram and Facebook. In the near future, I will try to develop both of these channels in parallel with focusing on TikTok.

Do you think you can go a long way as a KOL? Are you afraid of being eliminated as KOLs become increasingly young and talented?
I also pondered this question a lot, sometimes even stressed because I couldn’t find a satisfactory answer. But now I understand, instead of worrying about an uncertain future, why not focus on doing the best you can in the present – A passionate Hot TikToker? I believe that no matter what job you do, as long as you have heart and vision, you will always have a place.
Even though I may no longer be a Beauty KOL in the future, I will still stick with the beauty industry, maybe trading or manufacturing cosmetics or cosmetics, for example.

Last question: Do you think being a KOL is as “happy” as people often think?
Every profession has its hardships and joys, you have to experience it yourself to fully understand. If I’m not a builder, I don’t know how hard it is to build a house. If I’m not an accountant, I don’t know how difficult it is to make reports.
Many people may think that KOLs are a leisurely job, but I also had to spend a lot of time researching cosmetics, experiencing each type, creating content, and editing clips to get the results I have today.
