Jakarta, July 1, 2026 – Ecomobi has officially opened its first Livestream factory in Indonesia, marking a major milestone in its strategy to expand its Livestream Commerce ecosystem across the Southeast Asian market.
As Livestream Commerce enters the era of large-scale operations
Indonesia is currently one of the fastest-growing e-commerce markets in Southeast Asia. According to a report by Momentum Works, TikTok Shop Indonesia reached approximately $13.1 billion in GMV in 2025 – a 111% increase compared to the previous year – making it the second-largest market for TikTok Shop globally.
Along with the rapid growth of TikTok Shop and Shopee Live, livestream commerce is progressively becoming a vital sales channel. As transaction volumes surge, live streaming is no longer just a tactical, campaign-based activity. Brands today require more than just a physical streaming space; they need a robust infrastructure capable of sustaining continuous operations, ensuring consistent visual quality, and supporting large-scale campaign deployments.
This shift drives Ecomobi’s investment in establishing its first Livestream Studio in Indonesia – a strategic move designed to deliver a professional operational infrastructure that meets the escalating demands of brands in the Live Commerce era.

Inside the First Livestream Factory in Indonesia (Jakarta)
Developed under the One-stop Livestream Solution model, Ecomobi’s studio is not merely a venue for live streaming sessions but a comprehensive operational hub that supports brands in deploying the entire livestream process systematically and effectively.
In its initial phase, the livestream factory spans nearly 700 square meters, featuring:
- 06 Premium Livestream Rooms, each covering approximately 50 square meters, ideal for medium to large-scale livestream sessions.
- 342 square meters of supporting infrastructure, which includes a reception area, co-working space, makeup rooms, training rooms, storage facilities, rest areas, and other operational spaces.
The entire facility is built to high standards, utilizing digital cameras instead of webcams (which are still common in many Indonesian studios) to elevate visual quality. The spacious environment, combined with professional-grade equipment, allows brands the flexibility to build diverse livestream backdrops tailored to categories such as Beauty, FMCG, Home & Living, or Lifestyle.

The studio is also designed to operate 20 to 24 hours a day to meet the continuous livestreaming demands of brands. This is especially critical as many businesses shift from tactical, campaign-based livestreams to a regular broadcasting model to maintain consistent sales volume and boost customer engagement.
In addition to production infrastructure, Ecomobi provides a comprehensive One-stop Livestream Solution, which covers studio operations, content production, host coordination, and livestream management.
This framework leverages the operational experience of EcoLive in Vietnam – a 4,000-square-meter livestream factory that generates over 13,000 streaming hours per month with a team of 150+ hosts. The success of EcoLive has established a solid foundation for Ecomobi to extend its operational capabilities into Indonesia, systematically building a Livestream Commerce infrastructure network to serve brands across the entire Southeast Asian region.

Ecomobi’s long-term vision for expanding Livestream Commerce in Southeast Asia
The launch of the first Livestream Studio in Indonesia represents the initial phase of Ecomobi’s long-term investment strategy in this market.
According to the expansion roadmap, the company plans to scale up the studio facility to approximately 2,000 square meters, aiming to build 40 livestreaming rooms. This will systematically boost operational capacity to accommodate the growing demands of brands.
This expansion goes beyond simply increasing production output; it reflects Ecomobi’s strategic vision to establish a robust Livestream Commerce infrastructure across Southeast Asia. Moving from its proven operational baseline in Vietnam to its strategic expansion into Indonesia, Ecomobi is steadily finalizing an ecosystem that integrates physical studios, full-scale operations, and end-to-end streaming solutions. This ecosystem empowers brands to execute live streaming activities professionally, consistently, and with high scalability tailored to their business needs.
As Livestream Commerce takes on an increasingly critical role in brands’ growth strategies, Ecomobi will continue to invest heavily in infrastructure, technology, and operational capabilities, partnering with businesses to build efficient and sustainable live streaming models throughout Southeast Asia.
